|J.R. Smith joined AVG as CEO in early 2007 after three years at the helm of a UK based Mobile Network Operator (MVNO) he co-founded that partnered with Vodafone to provide mobile services. J.R. first European venture was TSG, a pan-European network deployment and telecommunications software development company he founded in 1997 whose clients included Vodafone, Nextel, Orange, T-Mobile, Telefonica, Nokia, and Ericsson. J.R. began his career as a serial entrepreneur in Seattle, WA with PNC, later VoiceStream; after six years, the company was sold to T-Mobile.|
Karel Obluk - Technický ředitel AVG Technologies
|With over 25 years of experience in development, Karel is strongly focused on technical aspects, programming as well as security issues. As a CTO for AVG, Karel is responsible for the strategic and technical development of the AVG product line, as well as developing key partnerships within the industry and identifying technologies offering potential for acquisition. Before becoming CTO, Karel led the development department, where he supervised and managed the release of several versions and editions of the AVG Anti-Virus.
Prior to joining AVG in 2003, Karel managed the development team at VEMA, a Brno-based independent software vendor.
Phil Zamfino - výzkumník AVG Technologies
Phil is a Senior Product Manager in the AVG Product Management Group, responsible for bringing LinkScanner® and other successful AVG products and initiatives to market over the past two years. Based in the US, he came to AVG from EarthLink, a large ISP based in Atlanta, which he joined when Aluria Software, a small anti-spyware firm, was acquired by Earthlink in 2006. Phil started his career as a software developer and moved into both project and program management before finally settling into Product Management; all his work has focused primarily on consumer security, anti-phishing, and anti-malware technologies.
Nick FitzGerald - specialista na počítačovou bezpečnost AVG Technologies
|As an Emerging Threats Researcher for AVG, Nick primarily works in the LinkScanner team. He spends his days trolling through tons of detection data and monitoring many external sources of information on new threats and the ever-changing threatscape.
Prior to his engagement at AVG, Nick worked as a consultant to other antivirus developers. Even further back, Nick was editor of Virus Bulletin where he is still a Consulting Editor.
