This video highlights the new features and key updates in AXIS Camera Station Pro 6.13. We offer a single software version that encompasses all features and functions to support our products—covering video, audio, and access control. However, the installation file has grown significantly. As a result, the MSI files for both server and client installations are now provided in ZIP file. Ensure you extract the contents of the ZIP file before installing the software via the MSI installer. For online systems, we provide the AXIS Camera Station Pro Server and Client Online Installer, which automatically extracts the ZIP file and initiates the installation process.
This release introduces new functionality to Secure Entry, our built-in access control solution. In the Access Management Settings, you'll now find Badge Templates, allowing you to design custom access control cards. You can create multiple templates to visually distinguish and identify different access rights for cards and cardholders. Templates can be applied to one or multiple cardholders, and printing is supported via HID Fargo Printers.
A major enhancement to our access control solution is the addition of elevator support. An access control reader can be installed inside an elevator car, restricting access to floors unless the correct credentials are presented. The reader in the elevator car connects to a door controller, which uses relay outputs to grant access to each floor. To accommodate the increased need for relay outputs (one per floor), the AXIS A9910 expansion module can now be directly connected to the A16, A17, and A18 door controllers—eliminating the need for an additional network cable. This ensures a cost-effective installation while saving you time and effort. Note: The current version supports up to 16 floors.
The integration of the AXIS D1110 decoder has been improved. Update the decoder to AXIS OS 12.6.x or higher will enable the streaming of up to 16 simultaneous video streams. Previously, only templates with up to 9 cameras were supported. Now, you can use any view template containing up to 16 cameras. This decoder allows you to display video without requiring a PC, making it ideal for providing an overview of key cameras.

In this release you can now integrate AXIS Audio Manager Pro to provide Public Address functionality. The AXIS Audio Manager Pro Software enables you to configure audio zones containing multiple speakers and manage audio content from multiple sources.
Pre-recorded messages, bell signals and background music can all be played automatically according to schedules and prioritization ensures that important audio will always be heard.
By creating an integration between these two software solutions we now provide a solution that combines both video surveillance and public address in a single simple to use interface.
For more information take a look at the following video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeZAo25IKR0
Within the configuration pages we have improved the functionality and layout. One of the reasons for this was to improve the user’s experience when working with low-solution screens and connectivity via remote software. These changes have improved the configuration display and made it easier to work with in all resolutions.
A new function introduced is the ability to open multiple incidences of the software. Right click upon a tab, a camera or view and select open in new window. This functionality is useful when using axis camera station pro with ultra-wide monitors.
We now include indicators for Ongoing recording, Motion detected, Object detected and Action rule triggered. The indicators and displayed at the top of a camera image and can also be displayed on the map. This can be a useful tool to indicate to an operator what is happening within the solution.
An interesting feature we have introduced is smart search 2 triggers. Both object classification and free text can be used as a trigger within action rules. Please bear in mind the camera positioning, lighting and object used in the trigger will have an impact on the reliability of this function. Smart search 2 is no longer just a forensic tool but can be used to create unique live user cases.
We have made improvements to Action rules. Event categories can be applied when creating an recording action. This is really useful for identifying and protecting important alarm recordings.
We have introduced a bookmark action which again, is really useful for identifying import events on the timeline.
When using our Artpec 9 (https://newsroom.axis.com/press-release/artpec-soc) cameras and the new AV1 video format (https://www.axis.com/solutions/av1-codec) we can toggle overlays in both live and recorded video. Date and time overlays as well as overlays generated from AXIS Object analytics can now be toggled on or off depending upon preference. Privacy masks and AXIS Live Privacy Sheild on the other hand remain permanently applied to ensure integrity and compliance with privacy and data protection standards.
There has been a change in behavior of the strobe siren when used within action rules. When using the strobe siren as an action you select the profile you have created on the device itself. However, all settings were used except the time duration. This has now been rectified and the time specified in the profile will now be used and not the trigger time. Unfortunately, in some user cases the configuration may have to be adjusted.
Finally, Axis now provides an email notification service for AXIS Camera Station Pro release updates and other important information. You can find the subscription link here: https://www.axis.com/forms/axis-camera-station-pro-software-release-notification-service

The video provides an in-depth look at the new audio functionality available in AXIS Camera Station Pro through its integration with AXIS Audio Manager Pro. This integration is designed to enhance public address capabilities within the surveillance software.
Requirements:
AXIS Camera Station Pro 6.12 or later.
AXIS Audio Manager Pro 5 or later.
AXIS Camera Station Pro includes basic audio features primarily aimed at security use cases. These features allow for automatic playback of messages on speakers when an alarm is triggered, helping to deter criminal activity. Operators can also make live announcements through speakers to discourage unwanted behaviour.
While the built-in audio functions are useful for security, they fall short for public address use cases. AXIS Audio Manager Pro is introduced as a solution for enterprise-scale public address needs. It enables the configuration of audio zones with multiple speakers and manages audio content from various sources.
Key Features of AXIS Audio Manager Pro:
Scheduling and Prioritization: Pre-recorded messages, bell signals, and background music can be played automatically according to schedules. Prioritization ensures that important audio messages are always heard.
Advanced Public Address Features: Includes a SIP server for connecting to external PBX systems, allowing paging to speakers from third-party devices using the SIP protocol.
Integration Benefits:
Unified Interface: The integration of AXIS Audio Manager Pro into AXIS Camera Station Pro provides a single interface for managing both video surveillance and public address systems.
Configuration and Administration: Authorized users can open AXIS Audio Manager Pro from within AXIS Camera Station Pro to configure and administer the audio solution. This functionality is available only when connected to the same network.
Map Integration: Icons representing public address zones can be displayed on maps. Operators can select these zones to broadcast live messages or play pre-recorded announcements.
Flexible Zone Selection: Operators can easily change zone selections to include multiple zones or the entire site, enhancing the flexibility of audio broadcasts.
Enhanced Action Rules:
The integration introduces audio manager actions, allowing pre-recorded messages to be played to public address zones when an alarm is triggered. For example, an analytic detecting an intruder at a perimeter can trigger a pre-recorded deterrence message to be played in the relevant zone.
Audit Trail:
Actions performed on the public address system are logged, providing an audit trail for accountability and review.
This integration significantly enhances the operational efficiency and safety of environments like schools, retail stores, and manufacturing facilities by combining video surveillance and public address functionalities into a single, user-friendly interface.
